Human Resources: 30-Day Substitute Permit

We regret to inform you that due to the large number of subs already in our system, the substitute teaching list is currently open for credentialed teachers only. If you hold a 30-Day Sub Permit, you may sign up for Pajaro Valley Unified School District only.

If you are applying for a 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit you will need to bring:

  1. SCCOE Substitute Registration Form
  2. Official transcripts verifying a Bachelor's Degree
  3. Verification of passage of CBEST
  4. Government Issued Photo Identification (Driver’s License, CA ID, Passport, etc…)
  5. $74.00 personal check or money order only—fingerprint fee
  6. Current Negative TB Exam (valid for 4 years) TB Skin Test locations and info
