Our Mission
The Santa Cruz County Science Fair promotes diversity and high quality scientific research and science education for K-12 students in Santa Cruz County.
Our Goals
The Santa Cruz County Science Fair will provide the highest quality science education, professional training, technical support, and special events for students seeking opportunities in pre-collegiate scientific research, and world class science and technology competitions.
The Santa Cruz County Science Fair (SCCSF) is a regional academic science, mathematics, technology, and engineering competition for students in grades K-12. Through the generous support of Seagate Technology, SCCSF sponsors the Santa Cruz International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) and California State Science Fair (CSSF) teams. SCCSF provides coaching and consultation services for CSSF and ISEF teams.
The SCCSF offers workshops for students, parents, and teachers. At science fair workshops participants receive the SCCSF Guide, lessons on how to use SCCSF online resources, and science fair curriculum. The dates will be posted to the Science Fair web site in summer 2008, or you can call the fair coordinator to schedule an individual conference or school presentation.
