Welcome to OASIS ! OASIS Independent Studies is a fully accredited public independent studies program affiliated with the Santa Cruz County Office Of Education. OASIS is designed to meet the needs of students in grades 9 - 12 who are self directed and can benefit from an Independent Studies Format. Independent Studies implements an instructional strategy that responds to the needs and unique styles of students. The OASIS independent studies model allows students to learn at their own pace while challenging them to excel in their areas of special interest and ability. Independent studies at OASIS strictly adheres to state high school standards. OASIS graduates have gone on to attend many local institutions of higher learning to include Cabrillo College, San Francisco State, UC Riverside, and UC Berkeley.
